What Have You Googled About Your Job? (Some Are Strange!)
Everyone has had questions while working, but just couldn’t ask. For example, how to get fired, which co-worker has the best excuses for calling in sick, or how to drink on the job? Yes, these are real questions people have Googled at work (too bad they didn’t share the answers).
Here are some of the more interesting results.
- In Connecticut workers searched “How to get fired?”
- I don’t want to call the workers of Kentucky lazy, but they are looking for easy jobs.
- Make sure to clear your history if you are searching drinking at work (Illinois) and sleeping on the job (Pennsylvania).
- Apparently corporate goth is a thing in Texas. I’m from Texas and I have never heard of corporate goth!
- Texans are also most likely to search “how to become a cowboy”. Unless you are working on a ranch, why? I’ve worked in Texas several times and never needed to be a cowboy at my job.
- In Rhode Island, things are getting “hairy”. They searched No Shave November.
- Apparently, there are quite a few disgruntled workers in New York. They searched “hate my boss” a lot.
- If you celebrate “420″ daily then start looking for a gig in Oklahoma They searched marijuana jobs the most. North Carolina wants mushroom jobs and not to stereotype, but West Virginia wants moonshine,
- Maryland sounds like a cool place to work. They searched Netflix while at work. Imagine a job where you can “Netflix and chill”.
- Delaware loves to take their chances at work. They searched lottery, presumably so they can quit working all together.
- You knew at least one state would search for something about sex. After all, isn’t that why we have the internet? California is the one. They searched “how to become an escort”.
