BUFFALO, N.Y. – At least three people – including a child – were injured when gunfire erupted overnight in New York state, authorities said.

According to WGRZ and WKBW, the shooting occurred about 11 p.m. on Donovan Drive in Buffalo. Someone began firing shots at a crowd of people who had gathered outside, striking three people, Buffalo police said.

One victim, described as a young child, was rushed to a nearby hospital in critical condition, the news outlets reported. No further information was immediately available about the other victims’ conditions, according to WGRZ.
