Recall alert: Volvo recalls 2.1M vehicles due to seat belt issue
Volvo is recalling almost 2.1 million vehicles because of an issue where a steel wire connected to the front seat belt can become weak.
The wire connects the front seat belts to the car, The Associated Press reported.
The recall is being characterized as preventive.
The models affected include:
- S60
- S60L
- S60CC
- V60
- V60CC
- XC60
- V70
- XC70
- S80
- S80L
They were made between 2006 and 2019, the AP reported.
