Sunday, July 19, 2020, is National Ice Cream Day! A new survey shows that our Top 10 favorite flavors are
1) Chocolate – 17%
2) Vanilla – 15%
tie 3) Strawberry – 8%, Mint Chocolate Chip – 8%, Butter Pecan – 8%
tie 6) Cookie Dough -6%, Cookies and Cream – 6%
tie 8) Rocky Road – 4%, Coffee – 4%
10) Chocolate Chip – 3%
The most popular toppings are hot fudge, caramel, and sprinkles. Also, people prefer their ice cream in a cup or cone equally! Believe it or not, 3% of Americans say they don’t like ice cream.
Americans love ice cream so much that we also celebrate National Ice Cream Day on December 13th, National Ice Cream Cone Day on September 22nd, and National Chocolate Ice Cream Day on June 7th.
