During the holiday season, there are certain smells that are unmistakable for this time of year. You are probably already imaging them now. An early Christmas poll from the “Real Christmas Tree Board” asked people to rank their favorite holiday smells.
1. Christmas trees. 56% said it’s one of their favorite holiday smells.
2. Cookies.
3. Cinnamon.
4. Hot chocolate.
5. Gingerbread.
6. Peppermint.
7. A fire burning in the fireplace.
8. Chestnuts.
You have to admit, there is nothing like the smell of a real Christmas tree. But, I don’t know if I could honestly tell you what in the hell a chestnut smells like!
