We’ve all had to attend the “mandatory” company outings. Many of us go just to be seen by the important bosses and then head home. A man in France refused to go to his companies weekly mandatory parties, which involved heavy drinking. He told his boss that he didn’t want any part of it and didn’t agree with their idea of “fun”. So, they fired him! He sued the company and won a judgement of close to half a million dollars!
