JASPER COUNTY, Texas – Nine people were shot at an after-prom party at a house in Jasper County, Texas, early Sunday morning, officials say.
In a news release, the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office said that just after midnight, deputies were called to a disturbance and shots fired at a house on County Road 263.
Once officers arrived, they found nine victims who were shot. The sheriff’s office confirmed that all nine had non-life-threatening injuries.
The victims were all taken to the hospital, according to KYTX.
The ages of the victims have not yet been released.
