Braeden, 82, who has starred as Victor Newman in 3,942 episodes since 1980, revealed his medical condition in a Facebook video on Friday, Parade reported.

“Talking about (his) personal well-being,” Braeden spoke about problems with his bladder after recent knee-replacement surgery, Deadline reported.

“I hate to be so personal, but I think this may be good for some older guys who may, or may not, listen to this,” Braeden said on Facebook. “It’ll happen to them.”

Braeden said biopsy results revealed some high-grade cancer cells, and he is currently undergoing immunotherapy, according to Deadline.

“Needless to say, I was taken aback,” Braeden said. “But, I was determined to deal with it.”

The actor said he just had his second of six immunotherapy treatments this past week, Deadline reported.

“I’ve learned now to listen to my body more, and not go all out,” Braeden said. “So, if you’ve seen me a little under the weather, yeah, I have been, but I will lick this.”
