The maker of the Barbie doll has introduced a Tina Turner doll to commemorate the 40th anniversary of her hit song “What’s Love Got To Do With It,” Reuters reported.

The doll is dressed in an outfit honoring the song’s music video — a black mini dress, denim jacket, fishnet stockings and her iconic hairstyle.

The 82-year-old performer said she was “honored to welcome my Barbie into the group of trailblazing women already represented and to introduce more kids to my journey,” according to Reuters.

Turner was born to a family of sharecroppers in Brownsville, Tennessee, in 1938 and named Anna Mae Bullock, according to Britannica. She started singing when she was a teen after she moved to St. Louis. Turner met her future husband Ike Turner when he performed with his band Kings of Rhythm. She joined the group and took the stage name Tina Turner. Ike Turner and Tina Turner married a few years later, after “A Fool in Love” hit the pop charts. One of the most famous songs they performed when they were together was a cover of “Proud Mary,” released in 1971. The couple divorced in the late 1970s after Tina Turner alleged Ike Turner committed physical abuse against her and infidelity.

Tina Turner became a standout solo artist in the 1980s with “What’s Love Got To Do With it,” her first and only No. 1 single on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart, Variety reported. The song took home three Grammy Awards.

The story of her life is now the focus of a Broadway musical, “Tina.”

Tina Turner married her record producer partner Erwin Bach in 2013.

Tina Turner retired from performing in 2009, Reuters reported.

The Tina Turner Barbie doll can be purchased at various retailers and on It retails for about $55.
