Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi has tested positive for COVID-19, the 33-year-old “Jersey Shore” alum announced via Instagram on Sunday.

“Happy Valentine’s Day! This one’s a bit different. … I have COVID. I’ve been isolated in my room since I found out. My family & I have been super cautious & careful, so this is super scary,” she wrote in her post.

According to People magazine, Polizzi shares three children with husband Jimmy LaValle: 6-year-old daughter Giovanna Marie and sons, Angelo James, 20 months, and Lorenzo Dominic, 8.

The reality star said in her post that her symptoms presented like a “bad sinus cold,” complete with “headache, stuffy nose & mold cough,” but her lack of energy convinced her to get tested.

“Today, I just feel groggy,” she wrote, adding, “I ended up losing my taste and smell last night. It’s fricken weird. I had a greasy cheese pizza & couldn’t taste a damn thing. WHAT A SIN.”

Polizzi said she is “hiding out” in her bedroom because no one else in the family has tested positive for the novel coronavirus. She also stated that she feels as though she “ran a marathon” but is “following the rules,” People reported.

In a second photo she posted in her Instagram slideshow, Polizzi showed a heart-shaped balloon and her bouquet on the floor of her room, assuring fans she is OK and grateful for the outpouring of support she has received, Entertainment Tonight reported.
