LEET TOWNSHIP, Pa. – A school bus aide in Pennsylvania is facing charges after police said she stabbed a school nurse in the back and held a teenager hostage.
Leet Township police arrested Rochelle Pinkle, WPXI reported. She is facing charges, including aggravated assault and endangering the welfare of children. Pinkle is also accused of resisting arrest.
The attack happened at the Watson Institute, a school for students with special needs. A member of the school’s faculty was taken to the hospital, and the area was placed on lockdown as police responded.
Police have not identified the victims or said whether the victims knew Pinkle.
