First, people started sharing their vaccine status as part of their profile on dating apps. Now, people are getting asked out while waiting to get their COVID-19 vaccine. It’s official, we are definitely ready to get back to being social again.
Author Kaitlyn Greenidge in NYC got similar stories to her viral tweet.
My 89 year old mother the same! This guy chatting her up in line talking about how hard it was to be old. She said tell me about it, and he said how old are you? She told him and he said I'm 96! Then he said, "do you have a 'friend'?" She said "yes I live with my boyfriend."

Some are even dressing up for the occasion. They are treating it as a big social event and there’s the added bonus of looking good in case you get hit on.

On the upside, you know that you are both going to be vaccinated from the virus. The downside, now we have to look good to go get in line for the vaccine or deal with people hitting on you while you wait.
Most importantly, you are getting vaccinated. If you have been asked out while waiting for your vaccine, please share your story with us.
Stay healthy.
