HAZARD, Ky. – A man who fled the scene of a hit and run in Kentucky was later found hiding in a Christmas tree box, investigators said.
The Perry County Sheriff’s Office said Thurman Sizemore, 35, ran from the scene Thursday after he was involved in a hit and run on Lost Creek Road in Hazard, WYMT reported.
He was later found at a home hiding in a Christmas tree box. Investigators also recovered packages of methamphetamines and $2,400 in cash.
Sizemore was arrested and charged with trafficking methamphetamines, resisting arrest and multiple traffic violations, according to the Perry County Sheriff’s Office.
