WARD, Colo. – A moose who had been spotted in Colorado with large ropes on its antlers finally was freed by two wildlife officers Friday.

Last week, Colorado Parks and Wildlife officials asked for the public to keep an eye out for a moose with ropes on its antlers after Dan Reynolds shared video of the animal near Lake Isabelle, according to KCNC-TV.

Friday evening, wildlife officers caught up to the moose and were able to tranquilize the moose.

After removing the rope, the officers found some injuries but said that it would recover.

In the video, the moose can be seen leaving after waking up and walking away seemingly unfazed by the ordeal.

The bull is at least 6 years old, according to KCNC-TV.
