The coronavirus is already impacting events that are scheduled for next year.
The Golden Globes will now be held on Feb. 28, 2021, at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California.
Feb. 28 is a delay from the traditional January awards date and was the original date for the Oscars ceremony, CNN reported.
The Oscars are now scheduled for April 25 because of the coronavirus pandemic, Variety reported.
The British Academy Film Awards are also being delayed and are scheduled for April 11, CNN reported.
