SAN ANTONIO – A Texas man who kicked in the door to his ex-girlfriend’s apartment was shot by the woman’s ex-husband, authorities said.
The incident, at the Merida Apartments in San Antonio, occurred Monday, KSAT reported.

When police arrived at the apartment, both the shooter and the victim had left, the television station reported.
According to police, the woman said her ex-husband was visiting with the couple’s three children when her former boyfriend forced himself into the apartment and began assaulting her, KSAT reported.
Police said the ex-husband grabbed a handgun and shot the other man in the groin, the television station reported.
The man left and went to an area hospital. His condition was not known, KSAT reported.
None of the children were injured, the television station reported.
