The names of the deceased soldier and the three injured victims have not been released, The Daily Record reported. The deceased soldier’s name is being withheld until next-of-kin have been notified, and the identities of the injured soldiers have not been released per privacy guidelines, the newspaper reported, citing the Army news release.

“We are saddened by (the) death of one of our own as a result of a vehicle accident today,” Maj. Gen. Brian Mennes said in the news release. “Our heart goes out to the soldier’s family and friends as we collectively mourn the loss of this soldier.”

The wreck comes nearly eight months after a wreck in a military vehicle also killed one Fort Bragg soldier and injured four others, WNCN-TV reported.
