LAWRENCE COUNTY, Tenn. – Officials in Tennessee issued a statewide Amber Alert on Friday for a 9-month-old girl who was “forcibly taken” Thursday night in Lawrence County.

Update 11:05 a.m. EDT June 26: Officials with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation said Braelee Rayne Trapp was found safe Friday morning.

Additional details on the circumstances surrounding her disappearance and recovery were not immediately released.

Original report: According to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, Braelee Rayne Trapp was taken by Tony Lynn Lanier Sr., 44, around 7 p.m. Thursday. The 9-month-old girl has green eyes and brown hair and weighs 18 pounds. She was last seen wearing a diaper, according to police.

Lanier has brown hair and eyes and is around 6 feet tall and 210 pounds. He was last seen wearing gray shoes, dark navy pants and a dark gray shirt that had “Buckmaster” written on it, according to police.

Braelee and Lanier were last seen in a black 2005 Chevy Equinox with Arkansas tag 430Y2K. Lanier is wanted for aggravated kidnapping, WHBQ-TV reported.

Authorities said Friday that Lanier knew Braelee’s family.

“His exact connection, however, at this time, remains unclear,” officials said in a statement posted on social media.
