LOS ANGELES – A shooting outside a grocery store in South Los Angeles left six people injured, according to multiple reports.

The shooting happened just after 4 p.m. PST Friday, KCBS-TV reported. Police told KTTV that two people fired shots outside the Superior Grocers store in the 10200 block of South Avalon Boulevard.

Four people were taken to a hospital in critical condition after the shooting, KABC-TV reported, citing the Los Angeles Fire Department. Officials said two other people who were injured were treated at the scene. Some of those wounded had gunshot wounds while others were grazed, according to KABC.

No arrests were immediately announced. Authorities continue to investigate.
