Nicholasville police told WTVQ the chaos started when a car made a sharp turn into the Wendy’s parking lot, the driver lost control and the driver flipped onto the patio.

Photos posted by a witness on Facebook show a white car upside down on the patio outside a Wendy’s in Nicholasville, Kentucky. In the post, the witness says, “I think the scariest part was when I ran out to help as a guy climbed out of the mangled mess with a gun in his hand yelling ‘he’s trying to kill me’ while looking back at the car. He then took off running away from the scene. When I got almost to the opened door another guy crawled out with a gun. Everyone outside took off running.”

Police said the first person to jump out of the car had two guns and hid them in the bushes, but witnesses led them to the guns, WTVQ reported.

Police told WLEX the car was not registered to either person, but that they do not believe the vehicle was stolen. Police told WTVQ the two men in the car are “acquaintances,” and were taken to a hospital for treatment.
