JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. – A Tennessee man was arrested on suspicion of stealing $65,000 worth of merchandise from clothiers American Eagle and Hollister, police said.

Johnson City police said Justin Moody, 32, worked for a delivery company and would open packages and steal the contents, WJHL reported.

He took about $30,000 worth of merchandise from American Eagle and $35,000 from Hollister, investigators said. Police started investigating after numerous thefts from the clothing companies were noticed starting in February.

Moody was arrested and charged with two counts of theft of property over $10,000, police said.
