Jim Morrison passed away on July 3rd, 1971.
His legend seems to have only grown larger in the decades that followed.
Now in 2021, Jim’s sister Anne Morrison Chewning, has compiled material from his archive into a new book, “The Collected Works of Jim Morrison.”
When Jim passed he left behind boxes filled with poetry, journals, and handwritten lyrics that are part of the archive.
Along with that are photos of Jim in many stages of his life and career.
