Musician Kid Rock has pledged to donate $100,000 to a fund created to provide relief to small businesses amid the coronavirus pandemic.

According to the Detroit Free Press and, the entertainer, whose real name is Robert James Ritchie, tweeted Monday that he is contributing to Barstool Sports’ Barstool Fund, which had raised more than $18.6 million for small businesses as of Wednesday morning.

“THIS IS THE AMERICA I LOVE! Put me down for $100K. And I only post this in hopes others as blessed as me may be moved to help out,” he tweeted, along with a link to the fundraiser.

So far, the fund has supported 79 businesses thanks to contributions from more than 147,000 supporters during the pandemic, according to the campaign’s website.
